Timber.

A somewhat new day dawned. With the hope of a new outlook (literally). It was like any other day...but really. The dusty smell of old trees littered my nostrils. It was early, too early to be thinking about anything much. Too early for change. It was even too early to get changed. And too early to be out of bed on a Saturday. Definitely too early for that. However, change is for the best, right?

The day the hedge was destroyed...I mean trimmed. Well, maybe destroyed is a better word for it?

Departure Day

I'm not too sure to say the date.
I was in a bit of a state.
To see you go, I was left.
A little bewildered, a little out of breath.

To go on
and finish what I started

To begin,
a somewhat new chapter.
